Kelvin's Weekly fishing Report
January
16th - January 29th
Winter is here and the the weather is great!!!
Although it's been cold in the
mornings, 40ish along the coast, the daytime highs are in the mid 60's to mid 70's.
To go along with the beautiful
weather the bay fishing has been outstanding.
Mission Bay is producing some good numbers of Spotted Bay Bass with very little
boat traffic.
San Diego Bay is the by far the most consistent fishery in southern California.
The Spotted Bay Bass fishing has
really been exceptional.
A few Halibut have been caught too.
There are some Yellowtail still being caught at
La Jolla,
but it's a matter of being in the right spot during the right time of day.
The boat traffic is light and the
weather is mild so it's a great time
to spend a day on the water with me,enjoying
a morning of great fishing on beautiful
Mission or San Diego Bay.
